Faculty of Nursing, AMSU University in Jordan has been established in 2025 to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical values.
This goal is achieved by attracting elite faculty members while utilizing advanced educational programs to prepare the students for their professional careers, whether in medical and Surgical Nursing, Critical Care and Emergency Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatric Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health, The ultimate goal is to Satisfy the local and regional labor market needs in the health sectors 

Welcome to the Faculty of Nursing at Aqaba Medical Sciences University (AMSU), where we aspire to provide the national, regional, and global labor market with highly qualified registered nurses, both theoretically and practically, in accordance with the latest international standards in nursing education and training. This enables our graduates to perform their expected professional roles in the labor market with competence and confidence.

The Faculty of Nursing takes into account technical, professional, and technological skills in preparing future nurses. The curriculum for the Bachelors of Nursing program includes diverse courses that focus on equipping students with competitive employability skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and the use of technology in nursing care. At the same time, the academic courses and their content in our program focus on the humanistic aspect of the profession, which considers treating patients as human beings within a holistic approach that does not neglect the physical, psychological, or social aspects of human care.

Furthermore, our program places the utmost importance on nursing research and evidence-based practice, by emphasizing research skills and emphasizing the implications of scientific research findings in the nursing process. Finally, our program distinguished by its teaching of nursing knowledge and skills within the context of Jordanian-Arab culture.

The academic content takes into account the cultural and social characteristics of Jordanian and Arab patients, their families, and their communities, and pays great attention to their values and perspectives, all within the highest international standards for nursing sciences.
